GSC Call To Action

The GSC competition to find all manner of sustainable innovators, business plans, talent, development ideas, and social models that can make a difference in the necessary transition to a sustainable world will be kicked off in mid 2009.

Initially we plan to operate in the UK, however like the title says, it is about Global Sustainability and we have a clear vision for a network of operations around the world.

The goal is to take people who are excluded, and include them. It is to find the great ideas that are lurking somewhere beneath the surface, and to pull them and the people behind them into the open, where they can be funded, (possibly by ourselves), but at the very least enable them to learn the lessons they need and gain a renewed sense of motivation to go through any hurdles to get their idea off the ground.

We dont want to hand people money on a plate. That would be counter productive. But we do want to make the whole process of raising money for innovation, and of launching ideas, companies and business models - a whole lot easier.
