The Global Sustainability Challenge is a bold attempt to redress imbalance and inequity.

Corporations, Governments and individuals all over the world not only don't do enough about climate change and sustainability - many continue practices which further destroy the earth's natural and valuable resources making life even more chaotic for us all.

Central to our aim of doing something about it, is systematically working to understand and remove the crital barriers to the innovation and development process (learn more).

There are a growing number of people who do care and who do wish to do something practical about changing the status quo. This rangest from working for the best organisations who strive to practice sustainable enterprise, to launching a new idea or technology, rolling out an existing one, using purchasing power, starting, or joing a relevant social enterprise.

GSC is all about bringing them together, inspiring, enabling and connecting them.

GSC was launched by Steve Podmore in 2006 and is now a venture with a strong core team. After two years in development, and with a number of big breakthroughs at the end of 2008, we are currently embedding the foundations which will enable this bold, noble but clear vision to launch by the middle of 2009.
